Title: PDF files can't be used as downloadable product?

I need to use PDF files as products to download, but I get an error saying that PDF file type is not allowed. How can this be fixed?

Sorry I think I got it fixed. Had to add PDF to the allowable file types for ARCHIVE (per another thread)

I came upon a workaround... when I had a free pdf file that was not allowed to upload to store with product specs on item setup page...

of course you won't get the customers' info for that free product (if that is the only thing they get)  but at least it is a possibility.
