General Support / customer order email confirmation.
« on: July 21, 2012, 03:11:09 AM »
Hi, my test orders go through ok and as a business I'm sent a copy of the order and customer details but I'm not receiving a confirmation copy as a customer. I'm using a different email address as a potential customer.

Thanks

Craig

General Support / language definition problem
« on: July 21, 2012, 03:07:04 AM »
Hi all, I've changed the colour of my website background to black. Now when I'm in maintenance mode the font on the maintenance message won't show (because it's black too) I tried a simple font colour code in the language definitions "index_maintenance" but it didn't work. Now when I log onto language definitions there are pages and pages of duplicate "index_maintenance" definitions. So 2 questions.

1: how do I change the colour of the font

2: how do I stop the multiple duplications appearing every day when I go to language definitions.

Thanks, Craig

thanks David, unfortunately my programming skills and understanding of the language and what it means is limited to changing a few numbers in the style sheet folder so my banner background is a different colour. I guess I'll have to wait and hope the abantecart team come up with a file i can easily upload. Cheers, Craig

hi Team,

still no luck on the upgrade.

define('DIR_SYSTEM',       DIR_ROOT . '/system/');  is included in the script /core/init.php line 274. I have downloaded both the upgrade and full package of v 1.0.3 and uploaded the core files from both but still the same error messages appear on my web page and I cant log into admin until i back up my old 1.0.2 version.

Thanks, Craig

I tried the new shipping improvements in the online demo, really good, just what I needed. Any ideas what went wrong?

Cheers

General Support / Re: checkout confirmation won't add potage
« on: June 23, 2012, 11:24:00 PM »
Hi, thanks for the two files, the shopping cart is adding the postage to the total now,  but I have also noticed if you have two or more items in the cart the postage still disappears at checkout, it’s ok with one item.

Also when i do a test order it won’t appear in the admin/sales/orders page but  it does come up in the message manager as a “notice” warning telling me there is an order but no specific details of the order

here are the language definition warnings I am getting.

Language definition "text_stars" is absent for "English"
Language definition "text_apply" is absent for "English"
Language definition "text_save_edit" is absent for "English"
Language definition "text_confirm" is absent for "English
Language definition "button_continue" is absent for ""
Language definition "column_image" is absent for ""
Language definition "text_fax" is absent for "English"
Language definition "text_repeats" is absent for ""
Language definition "text_date" is absent for ""
Language definition "text_show" is absent for ""

Thanks again for all your hard work on this project. The admin side is great for a non techie like me, it really makes life a lot easier. I'm really looking forward to getting my shop up and running when these small problems are worked out.

Cheers

Craig

General Support / checkout confirmation won't add potage
« on: June 20, 2012, 05:10:01 AM »
when i throw a few items in the cart and get to checkout confirmation it will show me the contents and individual prices but no combined total and no postage. The postage and combined total is showing on the small shopping cart icon but not on the main checkout page before confirmation.

I'm also getting about 11 warnings for different language definitions "text_confirm" is absent for english, "text_apply" "text_save_edit" etc etc? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
