The Problem with the german sorting lists within the blocks was solved:

The German language Package 1.1.x was not updated! (Status January 22, 2014, 08:20:53 AM)
We updated the german.xml file (see attached file) and copied to

extensions/german_language/storefront/language/german

and also to

storefront/language/german

Now its works.

Hello,

First of all, thank you for the support.

We selected German language in edit and rename Block to german, as you mentioned.
Than we save (see attached images).

But unfortunately we can not save the changes (english into german block).
I mean, no German block is put on and i think the data is not written into the database.

Do you have any idea what is wrong?

I would like to change the sort list (text_sorting_date_asc) shown in the attached picture from English into German.
How can that be done?

Can someone give me a hint.

We solved the Ajax / Javascript Problem:

The domain (URL) of our executed page and requested domain (URL) name were different.

The javascript was doing xmlHttpRequest to different domain than our page is. So browser is blocking it as it usually allows request in the same origin for security reason. You need to do something different when you want to cross domain request.

The solution:

We correct the Shop URL within system/ settings. There was another URL.
This URL should be exactly the same as the URL for your shop.

Hello,

We installed the version 1.1.7. Unfortunately we cannot change the layout and the blocks!

For example: If we change the block "donate" to "nothing" and save the changes, this appears not in store front.

The php version is 5.3.16

Can you help us?

Hello,

We installed the version 1.1.7. Unfortunately we can not add items/ selected products to the cart.
PHP-Version is 5.3.16

The website is: rmrisk.ch/_sd/shop/index.php?rt=index/home

Can you help us? May be version 1.1.7 have some problems with the php version.
