I'm having this problem on a "fresh" 1.2.0 hosted (A2 Hosting) installation, same as described in this old thread: http://forum.abantecart.com/index.php/topic,212.msg629.html#msg629

In my case the error is:

Backup Compress Error
Message status: critical
Date: 01/14/2015 04:58:14 AM
Number of repetitions: 6
Error: cannot to pack /home/musicali/public_html/admin/system/backup/manual_backup.tar.gz

In this case it's a scheduled backup, but trying manual didn't help: same error.

I've already checked the permission on the folder, and changed to 777 but without success.

Since I'm putting A LOT of things in my shop I'm honestly a little bit worried if I'm unable to make a single backup...

Any help will be VERY appreciated.

In the System -> Apperance admin page the Store Logo field is missing, therefore it's impossible to upload any file as a Store Logo.... (see the attachment)
