General Discussion / friendly url via csv import
November 17, 2017, 01:16:05 PM
I would like to import friendly url via csv import.  I cant find the column in my database.  I would like to know if this can be done already of if there is some costumization needed in order to achieve this.

thanks in advance. ;D

Hello.

I would like to implement some costum block in order to display latest product reviews in homepage.

I see there is a table in the databse named product_reviews.  I am probably going to look in the product.tpl and see how the review is called for each product and then costumize it from there to show say the latest reviews.

The idea is to then create a costum block to be displayed in the footer-top of the home page, or the left column of the cart or such and such.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Will post any achievements.

Sorry, after looking at what I wrote, even I am confused by what I wanted :D. Essentially I want the search block in the corner to also search models as well as names.

FOUND SOLUTION YAY

in the product.php file in the public_html/storefront/model/catalog/ directory edit 504 where it says
if (!$model){
and take away the '!'

that's it.

I did it for the descriptions and it worked.

I have the same question,

I have already ticked search product descriptions by default, in search block.

But I need the search top to search through product descriptions as a default.  any help is gratly appreciated.  I supose i will fiddle around some more to see if I can achieve this, but i am no programmer.

thanks again.

I have the same problem.

I dont think
  • needs to be first or that all the columns need to be there, I just dont think its possible from the way its coded.  I really hope a dev can come in and clarify.

I am trying to insert new categories to already existing products, I get the same error "use insert, all products are keys"

    SOLUTION:

    add an updatable parameter.

I added price to my update csv, and tada!

    HOPE THIS HELPS.

General Support / admin stylesheet is not working
June 28, 2017, 05:08:19 PM
good afternoon comunity.

I am trying to reestablish the admin site for my abantecart installation in godaddy.

I dont honestly know what went wrong.

Here is a screen capture or my connection page.  WITH NO CSS.

the inspection panel does not show the stylesheet loaded. And the following error is displayed:

"Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)"

Thank you for any comments, or suggestions on what could have gone wrong.

BTW I cannot access the file location on the browser.  I suspect is because of the .htaccess /admin/ denied order.

I have a LARGE database in fdb format.  I neet to use abantecart on that same database.  The database is live, in a server with multiple users.  I want to use Abantecartwith that database.

I need pointers.  Is it straight-forward as to change every sql query on AbanteCart.  or are there any give pitfalls I might stumble into along the way.

I have a limited budget.

If all else fails I can export/modifyheaders/import, but that would not be in sync with the inventory, which has additional problems on its own.

Any help is appreciated.
