Just a quick question
I have a full  backup from when the site was on  1.2.0
Would it be possible to install 1.2.0  / 1.2.9 as a new installation - link it to the existing database (1.2.0 version I think ) and then just update the folders and content that have changed - or am I being too simplistic ?

I tried upgrading from a previous version (1.2.4 if I remember correctly )  to 1.2.9 and I get the following message

Based on the info I have now found on the forum - it looks like I have to do incremental upgrades 1.2.4 1.2.5 1.2.6 etc which would be OK if I could just recover the previous version - when doing the upgrade I got a message that Abante would do a backup so I never did a backup thinking it would be OK ?

I have an old full system backup so my question is which folders and files should I copy back into the "home" directory ?

so far I have copied all the old files in the "public_html" folder ? (still get the same error )

on the PC browser page I get the correct logo images for "my brands" on the home page but when I view the site using a mobile (Apple iPhone with Safari) I get some other images which I cannot seem to find or change ?

I tried upgrading form 1.2.0 to ver 1.2.1 but still the same ?

My hosting company does not have the 1.2.2 , 1.2.3 or 1.2.4 upgrades available - so if I need an upgrade I guess I will need to do it manually ?

I have Abantecart ver 1.2.1 (upgraded from 1.2.0  today ) and would like to know if I can upgrade in one step to 1.2.4 ?
Or should I do incremental 1.2.2 , 1.2.3 , 1.2.4 ?
if so where do I get the Extension IDs for these upgrades

I have added many products using the Import from CSV file method but I would like to know if there are any other options I can use to either update existing products or maybe delete products etc ?
So in short - In the CSV file for adding new products uses "insert" in  the "Action" field
Are there any other options ?

Thanks for guide -  It works fine for a product but I would like to add a video to a "Category" page
When I go through the same process of adding a Video Block to the Category page , this works but when adding media to the category page , it allows me to add the :add resource URL" however in the TYPE field it ONLY ALLOWS ME TO ADD an IMAGE ?
The Utube video is displayed as media below the image on the right (in the admin page ) but does not appear on the Category Page ?

Help Please
