I am actually looking for this feature too. I like to add a "blog" section to my store. Can we request to have this added to AbanteCart as a core component?

Currently, there is a Content area but the way it is structured, it's not blog friendly...and, it wouldn't scale over time.

I just checked that extension and and owner says they're not updating it for 1.2+ ...
However, they'll be releasing a new extension to replace Sharethis...no words as to when it'll be release though...

I am not sure if this is a new feature or if it could be done already...or, maybe a "work around" exists? In any case, I'd like to contribute my thoughts and angle onto this topic...since you are asking for ideas 

What I am looking for is a way to provide streaming audio and video to my buyers...that is, once they buy and pay for the content, they can go to their Downloads area and VIEW it...I want to stream this content instead of requiring them to download it. Is this possible?

On the subject of giving FREE downloads...is it possible to create a download product that is only available to "Signed in" members only? That is, I do not want this item discoverable publicly....I want to create the free item and give it away to a select group of buyers only. So, only those buyers who I've given access to (by adding it to their Downloads area) can see/download this content.

Can you get an "embed" code from videos you uploaded to the product's Media video? I can upload a video to the product...but can't seem to find a way to show it on the product page. This is a product demo video. It is weird that I can upload a video for the product but have no way to showing it on the page right now.... 

This is an interesting behavior.  It seems to be working intermittently. That is, if I refresh the page and try the action, it would sometimes take me to the create page and sometimes it does not...also, once in the create page, it would sometimes let me save and sometime it does not....I tried this on both IE and Chrome, same behavior. 

It seems that the Ajax call didn't trigger the form action because when the icon just spins, the browser didn't react...in cases where the action worked, the browser responded almost immediately...Is this an issue with Abante or the browser? What's the best browser to use Abante's Admin with?

You guys have any idea why clicking the "+" to create a new product or a new content page does not take me to the create page? The icon just spins but nothing is happening...see attached image. I was able to create new products before...

If it helps, I can create a new category just fine...

Any help or pointer to solutions is greatly appreciated.

Strange! The banners magically appears now... Problem solved...

I just installed Abante and been playing around with admin site. I have test around by enabling and disabling things to see how they behave. Long story short, I have disabled the "Main Page Banner Bottom" from the Design > Blocks ... I've also been trying to swapping out images for the banner...but I can't seem to get these banners to show up on my home page anymore. I've reverted all my changes and even use the Abante's demo site to double check that all settings are the same with the demo, yet the "Main Page Banner Bottom" do not show up. Could someone help? I could give you my admin info privately if you think you might know what the problem is...
