Correct me if I'm wrong. The Special price overrides the original Price, which is crossed out. However, the display doesn't make since when the Price is set to be lower than the Special. Putting some price warning or validation between the two perhaps be helpful I think. At least now I know how the pricing management works. Thanks!

Price changes on special items or those that are marked on sale don't show correctly. The new price will show as the strikedthrough/crossed out price and the original stays the same. In addition, the Discounted items never change price at all. I just did a fresh install on the latest abantecart1.2.8 with the demo data.

If your site is hosted on Amazon AWS, make sure you add "SMTP" in the Security Group setting of your instance.
My abantecart email setting is the default "Mail"

Same problem here. Did any has solution?

I updated the contact.php, and I still can't send emails from contact form using SMTP & gmail.
I lowered security on the gmail did not help either;
The error is:

Help!

I had the same problem and solved by making all files and subfolders under resources folder as 777. I used Filezilla to change file permissions.
