I also encountered the same problem after updating to a new version. Sometimes, AbanteCart saves the old configuration in the cache and does not apply the changes immediately. Try going to Admin > System > Cache Management and clearing all caches. As for disabling blocks on multiple pages at once, unfortunately, AbanteCart does not have a page grouping function, so you may have to edit each page individually.
