No, I was just trying prestashop. I still haven't figured out why abantecart does not work on my server.

I'll do that. Give me a moment. My host just changed a few things let me see if that helped. I think you might be right because one of the guys who complained about this was also using the same hosting provider.

No I don't get any errors or logs. I just re-installed the abante-cart without changing much of the data except store-name and url. I get the same problem. I don't understand how this problem could still exist. There are other users who have had it in previous years on this forum, their queries  were no addressed either. When I asked my host about the sessions configuration this is what I got.

I infer you are referring the domain "scipin dot co dot za". I could not find any issues in the server logs. Also the session is enabled in the server. You can verify the same in the URL below:

I did change that url as suggested. Nothing has changed.

I also noticed I have a similar issue when I'm in administrator mode. I can change the value of a property or html, click save, yet the page shown after refresh displays the old information. if i gnore that for a while(usually 5 mins) and come back to that section, I find the page now updated.

I hope this sheds some light on whatever the cause is.

I noticed something similar happens when I delete one of the items in the cart. The "deletion"  seems not to apply. Until some minutes later. Then the action appears to have taken place.

My cart seems to be not updating/adding items. However unlike the other thread I found on the forums I noticed this.

It seems as though it's not adding anything to the cart, then 3 to 5 mins later the items appear.

Does anyone know what could be causing this delay. I know it would definitely confuse customers.
