When a new customer is registering, the field called ZIP code is mandatory by default. How can I change it into a non-mandatory (Optional) field? Thanks

please help.
I'm installing abantecart on godaddy server. During installation, on step 3 of configuration, I put database connection details. I have checked them and re-checked more than 10 times. they are corrects. But I'm seeing the error message "Error: Could not make a database connection to database ihahatech using leo123@localhost" .
Can please anyone try to help me fix this?
