I am having a rather annoying problem related to the product page loading speed on AbanteCart. When I enable many Product Options (about 8-12 options with prices and images), the product page starts to load noticeably slower, especially with products with many variations.
I have tried:
– Turn off all unnecessary extensions
– Turn on the default cache and adjust the compression level
– Reduce the image size of each option
However, the speed still does not improve much. What I am wondering is:
Does AbanteCart have a separate preload or lazy load mechanism for options?
Is there any setting to reduce the number of requests while still keeping the number of Product Options in use?
If I have to adjust the code, which file / controller / template should I optimize so as not to affect the core?
Is there any plugin that optimizes handling for many options that everyone has used?
I want to keep the number of variations because it directly affects the experience and SEO, but the current performance is not stable. Looking forward to hearing from you guys who have encountered similar situations or have experience optimizing AbanteCart at an advanced level.
