I found a workaround:
I installed on my local machine and logged in there successfully then I just used phpMyAdmin and copied the credentials from my local users table to the hosted users table.

Hi,
I have just installed Abantecart 1.3.4 (twice).
I cannot log in as admin - it says invalid username and password (even after uninstalling and reinstalling).
If I click Forgot password, it asks for my details and then shows a blank page.
No email is sent.
I am effectively locked out.
Please help.
