Hi Gary,   
I see you are using Softaculous,  IMO  that is good.  I am assuming you want to give AbanteCart a try to see how it all does before you make that your live site.

You need to designate a directory  (subfolder)     

so  it would be something like this -   https://  (the protocol) (the domain)   abantecart  (the directory)
replace the abantecart with whatever name you want  - store,  shop,  test 
softaculous will make the directory for you and assign the database etc.

Perhaps it is how you are trying to do this on your local machine.

Have you tried one of the local emulators on your PC?  See this page for more info.

Additionally -  if your cPanel  has Softaculous -  you can use to your advantage - as it has a great cloning/staging feature.

There is a setting for sizes  for the brands - 

Look in Design -  Templates, should bring up Template Manger -  look for Brand Icon  width and height.

I am unfamiliar with SI custom theme.  If the above instruction don't work for you, contact the developer of that theme for help.
There is a support link in each  MarketPlace product to request support.

have you discovered Act on Behalf of -  in Sales > Customers?

It allows you into an existing customer account to add, change, etc  an order.

If customer does not have an account you will need to make one for them.

as for processing,  you can control that by how you handle the status of an order - see order status for selections, and you can add any additional status points you may need.

I see on GitHub this post  about Email templates - disable visual editor #1410

Can I assume that you have found the issue that if edit is made in the HTML tab,  no saving yet  but a switch to Visual tab to check the changes destroys the template?  Removing the HTML tags,  and rendering the templates  useless to customer.

Or do I need to post an additional bug report in github?

Have you discovered the cloning feature in AbanteCart?

Having followed your posts for a bit -  It seems that you have several different specifics to address,  the locations,  assignment to different categories , etc.

You might find cloning is simpler and faster in the overall - And since it actually makes a (copy) of your product   it assigns correct id etc.  you just need to change the Name  and perhaps a category

Very nice work  both on the site and on your products.

Only one comment or so -  being in the US,  and knowing you are in NZ  I found myself wondering  what the currency was shown in.   If you ship internationally,  and how I might find out my US dollars if you do ship internationally.

Hi User 88  ,  I see you have a /staged url install.  I am assuming you used  Softaculous Staging to test.   If you don't pay close attention when cloning or staging in Softaculous you can miss setting the protocol  to the desired setting.  the default always show up at http:/  and you need to use the dropdown to select the https://

I have also added one that has textarea options enable so you can get the childs name.

There are lots of default configurations available for you without any coding needs.  You can add parent/child options for different routes,  if needed.

Look at Products - Promotions tab  - discounts.  You can set quantities and pricing

attached is a standard product with several levels of discounts.

this is one possible solution.


We have made several dozen installs over the past few days using this version on our servers. (one note,  these are not shared hosting accounts, but servers assigned to our dedicated use nd the boxes are tuned for AbanteCart requirements.)

We have had no issues with any of our installs.  We are testing in php 7.2,  php 7.3  and php 7.4  installions.
Just info from one user experience.
