Just checking -  usually  the latest versions show up in Softaculous  within 2 days of release.   1.2.16 has been out for 5 days now  and still only 1.2.15.   Have you changed your approach to updating Softaculous versions?

Can you please add some documentation to your manuals about how Collections is suppose to work.   We can add a collection,  but trying to have it show up in a category  or any place a customer can find it is unsuccessful with our trials. There are no tool-tips,  and everything we try does not give us a result that is expected. Current issue is we don't know how to show the collection in storefront in any manner.

Thanks in advance for adding  that instruction to your manual for all AbanteCart users.

Hi,  just to be sure you have looked at the options features in AbanteCart as there are options for uploading files from customers,  text blocks for inscriptions,  etc.  Not quite as slick as your reference  but a whole lot less expensive.

If you have the latest extension - and it seems you indicated you did not encounter the issue when placing a test order  perhaps see if your client can try a different browser ,  Firefox or Edge. 

Or try this set of escalating clearing:

Use Cntl+F5 to clear reload his browser -  he should be ON the AbanteCart pages
If still not showing:
 Ask him to clear his cookies  and cache within his preferred browser.

AbanteCart Version(s) 1.2.0 – 1.2.15 use USPS Integration v 1.2.15.1

If not, please update and see if that fixes your issue.

w4mmp -  details of your site would facilitate providing better/faster help.
What is your AbanteCart Version?  what shippers are you using,  all of them if more than one?
Have you tried making an order within your system?  Did you experience the same issue?
Are there any errors reported in your Admin > System >Logs > error logs?  If so please post the error(s) that is related to this issue.

Since you are indicating it is ONE customer in particular,  it may be more difficult to determine.

If they are already a customer,  you can use the act on behalf to assist them with an order while trying to solve the issue.

There is a Support tab within the MarketPlace on the template page that will tell you how to get help from them.

Ah,  that was unclear -  it totally depends on what they change in the new version vs what you have changed  but after many years with the cart the chances are good that you will need to redo at least some of your core code changes.
That is why it is recommended to make extensions rather than core code hacks.

There are lots of comparative tools like Beyond compare that assist in side by side comparison.

Philosophy 101 -  the only thing sure in computers is there is constant change!

From a true business prespective -  for what occurred to an order -  it is usual for the trail to be updated to a condition rather than some process deleted or edited.
that is why the cart  has the process of status condition updating.

You can comment in as to the reason why you have changed a condition so both you,  the customer, and perhaps any revenue governmental agency auditing your sales  will know what a condition was changed -

You also have the option to NOT send the new status to the customer  but only maintain it in the order status details within the account.  The customer would see it if they opened their order status,  but they do not get an email notification.

I am speaking only from the normal GAAP   ( Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)  used by most entities around the world for how financial matters are handled and customer orders are indeed a financial  transaction.
