Cannot Log In, Cannot Reset Password

Hi,
I have just installed Abantecart 1.3.4 (twice).
I cannot log in as admin - it says invalid username and password (even after uninstalling and reinstalling).

If I click Forgot password, it asks for my details and then shows a blank page.

No email is sent.

I am effectively locked out.

Please help.

I found a workaround:
I installed on my local machine and logged in there successfully then I just used phpMyAdmin and copied the credentials from my local users table to the hosted users table.

Did you install with regular installation process or via Softaculous?

I used Soft.... to install AbanteCart on our HostGator site. I've done the same as other gent. I reinstalled AbanteCart and the same ... I still can not login. I get the errro "No match for Username and/or Password"
