Support / Favicon

Hi,

I have my favicon all set up and it displays on my site in the tab as it should. When I look at my search results in Google it still displays the AbanteCart Cart logo next to my web address in the search results. When I search in Bing it does not display either favicon. I have cleared the Cache and cleared search history .

Any help would be appreciated.

General Support / Tax incorrect

Hi,

I have only one location ( UK) which is set up for tax at 20%. I have set my products to include tax on the product page and have turned on display prices with tax in system/settings/checkout. The products do not seem to display the tax and the price seems to say the same with tax on or off. The only time the tax is added is at checkout but this is no good as it means I am displaying my prices without tax and I need to show the including tax as in the UK. Can anyone please help with this?

Support / Unable to send emails

Hi,

I have just set up my new site but I am unable to get emails to send. When the mail protocol is set to mail setting it appears to send but nothing received and no error in the logs. I have checked with my hosting company and they tell me php mail is enabled. If I then try smtp the message will not send and I get this message "Task Failed 0 messages have been sent." but then there is an error in the log, but this means nothing to me I am afraid. I have been struggling with this for 2 days now, so can anyone help please?

Support / Unexpected Error

Hi All,

I have just tried upgrading to 1.2.12 but it comes up with a critical error so will not upgrade. I tried turning off all my extensions but still did not work.

Bellow is the error log.

Can anyone help??

Support / World Pay Extension

Hi,

I am running version 1.2.12 but seem unable to get the Worldpay extension to work. I have read that the Worldpay extension is not available anymore. Could this be why I am unable to get it to work ? Is it not compatible with version 1.2.12 ?

General Support / Alert Email not working

Hi All,

When a customer places an order on my website they do not automatically receive a confirmation email. Also I have the alert mail function turned on but I do not receive an email about the order either. If I go into the customer order and notify the customer in the status and comments section the customer receives that email OK.

In the mail settings I have the mail protocol set to : mail. I have mail parameters set with my email address in it. I have also tried it with no email address in the parameters box and this made no difference.

Can anyone please help ??

SEO / SEO URL

SEO URL is enabled and seems to be working except it is not working on all pages. It seems to work on all products but not on all categories. It seems to work on first and second level categories but not third level categories. Any ideas anyone ?

Shipping Modules / Price based shipping tax

I have just installed the price based shipping extension. When I add a product to the shopping cart and look at the total I notice that the VAT total does not include the VAT on the shipping. Obviously not displaying the VAT on shipping gives an incorrect VAT invoice. I have added the tax class in the additional settings in the extension.

Am I missing something obvious ?

General Support / critical error

Hi,

Just tried to upgrade from 1.1.9 to 1.2. All seems to be upgrading then this message appears as below.

"There has been a critical error processing your request."

At this point I have to abandon it and reload a back up version of 1.1.9 to be able to get my site back.

Any ideas why this may happen ?

Support / Customers not displaying

Just getting my site up and running and have made 3 sales over the last couple of days from 3 different customers. When I look at my orders I see all 3 orders but when I look at customers it only tells me I have 1 customer. Am I missing something obvious

Extension Support / Price based shipping not working

Hello,

I have the price based shipping option but am unable to get it to work correctly. I have set up United Kingdon as a country and then go into additional settings and enter in the box the rates for United Kingdom. I have used the example rates of 5:10.00,7:12.00. I turn status on and save, then press Go. This then takes be back to the last menu. If I then click on United Kingdom again to check my rates, I find the box is empty.

Any Ideas why this does not save the rates?

General Support / Unable to deselect shipping to other countries

Hi all,
I am in England and only want to deliver to England at the moment. I have gone to localization/countries and turned a few of the other countries status to off. I have cleared the cache, but everytime I go to the cart all the countries are still there !

Can anyone help ?
