Error calculating tax incorrectly according to Geo Zone in AbanteCart

Hello everyone, I am using AbanteCart and having trouble with the tax setup for the international store:
– I have created Geo Zones for each region (US, EU, Asia) and the corresponding Tax Classes.
– I have also added Tax Rules with different tax rates according to Geo Zone and Tax Class.
But when a customer in the EU region (located in the Geo Zone "EU") adds a product to the cart, the tax is not calculated, or is calculated at the wrong rate.
Is there a special setting in AbanteCart that needs to be enabled to automatically apply the tax according to the country/shipping address?

Hello.
It's usually better to simplify your setup by using one Tax Class and assigning it to all products. Then, inside that single Tax Class, you can create multiple tax rates for each Geo Zone or location (US, EU, Asia, etc.).

When adding the rates, make sure to use the "Apply tax if >=" condition correctly, so the right rate is applied based on the customer's shipping address.

After you finish the configuration, clear both the AbanteCart cache and your browser cache. This ensures that when a customer starts the checkout and enters their shipping address, the new tax configuration is properly applied (not cached).
