wider dropdown box possible for categories ?

could it be possible to have a wider dropdown box for categories ?

because of my subcategories the visibility could be better

so if possible i would like to widen the dropdownbox a little

the one that is visible when you are adding new products

Yes. You can inspect HTML/CSS with firebug and find what css property to change on the template

i installed firebug, very surprising prog, never heard of that before

but how do i find the CSS ?

it's in Dutch, but how do you like what i have done so far

i was a bit premature

it is  working in firebug

but after renewing the page the alternations are gone

still do not know how to reach the right folder in the directories

i searched like crazy

using firebug i discovered it has to be in http://antiex.nl/winkel/admin/view/default/javascript/jquery/ui/themes/ui-lightness/ui.all.css

but when i go there on the server

the data of firebug is not the same as th file i am looking for

also visible are @import "ui.base.css";
@import "ui.theme.css";

but when i download these from the server

there is nothing i can change

so

i hope to have some help with this

The file that you posted is part of jquery. I do not suggest to modify it . Stay with in abantecart template css.
