Where is the error log in abantecart source code?

I don have error.txt in that path.

This indicated 2 things.

1. This directory is not writable for your web server.
2. There was no errors or warning yet recorded.

But Im facing a problem in creating new extension.I dont know where i made mistake. I am creating a new extension for abantecart controlpanel. I have used developer tool for creating this. I have given menu link by adding insertmenuclass in install.php as in developer tool.Once i installed the extension, the menu and its url was created.But the extension is not linking with the menu.It always shows "Page not found".I dont know where i made blunder.If you can, please give me the flow for creating an extension. Im very new to abantecart.Could anyone please help?
