deleting demo image resource files

I have all delete the demo katogory from the abantcart and maked new kategory and added new produckt from the scratch but I see a lot of the demo image in my resource library and tryed to delete it by select the image radio buton and delete it but its says :

"Cant delete resource(s) because one or more resources is linked to object"

how can i delete the demo image any clue ?
