Need category pages to display 3 products in a row instead of 4

I'm in a bit of a pickle and need some help.

The products listed on the individual category pages seem to be set to display 4 items per row by default.

See how the products align to the left?

I need to either center the 3 products within the category, or just change the category default to 3 products instead of 4.

How do I go about doing this?
