While checkout how can I set default currency as USD

Hi All,
While checkout how can I set default currency as USD. When I change the currency the paypal page shows symbol as usd and amount as changed currency. I want to set checkout currency as USD . If user changes the currency the check out should be in usd and not in changed currency.

Can any one guide me on this?
