Error message when migrating osCommerce > Abantecart

I'm running osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4 with two languages installed and modified code. I'm not experienced at all, but the site works.

Now I've tried to migrate my data to AbanteCart with the built-in migration tool. However, I get this error message:

SQL Error: Illegal mix of collations (utf8_general_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_unicode_ci,IMPLICIT) for operation '='
Error No: 1267
SQL: SELECT languages_id as language_id FROM languages WHERE `code` = (SELECT `configuration_value` FROM configuration WHERE `configuration_key`='DEFAULT_LANGUAGE'); in /home/x-x-x-x-x/public_html/x-x-x-/x-x-x-x-/core/database/amysqli.php on line 106

Now I don't know what to do. Is anybody there to lend me a helping hand? But as I said: I'm not an expert. I would need a description for dummies ;-)

In AbanteCart you can try to import products with CSV file ( spreadsheet table)
