royal mail shipping extension

The problem that iam having is that even when i put the correct dimensions weights etc into the product so that royal mail can estimate the shipping price i get a line at the top of the checkbox with a very obsurd price the error is as follows-

i would be very obliged if anyone could help me resolve this or give me an idea of a fix.
