embed page example

I'm very new to Abantecart, but not new to web design.

I've been looking at the embed example (embed demo on the Abantecart website)

Is it possible to build a web  site in one domain (e.g mycompany.com)  and link to Abantecart hosted on another domain (e.g mycompanystore.com) in a similar way to the embed example?  I would like to try and recreate a similar page to the embed example, with popups linked to the store features.

Is there a tutorial on this?

Hi.

You can but just make sure both sites use same protocol HTTPS (SSL) to avoid some browsers blocking for mixed contents
