We are thrilled to introduce the latest release, AbanteCart v1.4.3!

Release include broad Windows compatibility and a major move to Form Manager, enabling merchants to edit forms, add new fields, group fields, customize field icons, apply restrictions, and control validation messages. Customer registration, customer details, address, and guest checkout forms now load from the database (AForm).

🌟 Highlights

• Form Manager everywhere (merchant-editable). Most customer, account, and checkout forms now come from the database and are managed via the AbanteCart Form Manager—edit/add fields, group them, customize field icons/tooltips, set restrictions, and tailor validation/error messages.
• Windows compatibility. Large refactor and many targeted fixes across the core, controllers, extensions, and the installer.
• Large cart performance update. Faster cart updates and improved robustness for very large carts.
• Payment restrictions by customer group. You can now restrict which payment methods are available per customer group—applies to all payment extensions. Sponsored by Mikko.
• Tax. AvaTax SDK updated with full PHP 8 support; shipping taxation behavior fixed.
• Option value: `require_shipping`. (Sponsored by Mikko.) New `require_shipping` toggle on product option values so options can explicitly force shipping when selected.
• Libraries upgraded: Font Awesome 7.0.0; Bootstrap 5.3.7.
• Internationalization: Languages moved to a dedicated repo: `abantecart/abantecart-languages`. The admin can load 20+ languages directly from that Git repository.
• UPS extension updated to the latest PHP SDK; adds shipment & label creation.
• PayPal Commerce: New card fields UI with billing address for AVS, clearer validation/errors, webhook update fixes, and totals alignment.
• Installer/Upgrader: Download credentials on finish; CLI pre-install of extensions; sample data improvements.
• Database changes: Default MySQL character set/collation switched to `utf8mb4` for full-Unicode support.

Just noticed this thread again and decided to add some clarity with v2.0 and why it is not out.

AbanteCart v2.0 was converted into AbanteCart Charged as a commercial product.  It is used by some of our large clients.
This platform is much more sophisticated with distributed architecture and not suitable to be freeware.

AbanteCart open source product is expanding independently with new release v1.4.1 coming up very soon. A lot of new features.

There is Bootstrap v5 for a front side and some other UI frameworks in the amin

AbanteCart Users.

Let me provide the answer.

1. Code for AbanteCart Charged (aka v2.0) is open source and you can install on your server. We can install it for you as well.
License free for AbanteCart Charged will depend on the service we will provide.

2. Any container that support PHP. We recommend AWS for getting the test performance with distributed architecture.

3. We will provide and access after establishing a license

4. We can set up a call to discuss details with you and will provide a demo.

owl-carousel for brands is located in below template file:

public_html/extensions/novator/storefront/view/novator/template/blocks/listing_block/popular_brands_content_bottom.tpl

You need to enable autoplay in the JavaScript section (line 48), Add below line:

Only new install of v1.4 will enable Navator template automatically. Upgrade will have default template.

As you might know abantecart_2.0 is completely different, advanced architecture and we used it for our larger clients.
There were no contributions from community to this platform, thus there was no point to keep it open.
It was a big investment on our part into this platform and decision was made to monetize and recoup the investment.
We have renamed  abantecart_2.0 to AbanteCart Charged and it will be under commercial license.
Updates are coming soon.

If you are interested to get a license or custom development please contact.  With license you receive support with updates & upgrades.

I do not think z-index will help. Usually, the overflow property is used to avoid scrolling on the HTML element.
Are you able to share the link or screenshots?

Can someone please outline how you like to get media files organized?
Do you want to add a group?
