Cache Management

Is Clearing the cache safe? I am always hesitant to break something.

The reason for this post is the following. I had the url m.kleinerts.com/test for testing the site but renamed test to store and not it is m.kleinerts.com/store.

The home page loads but all other pages have an error since I made the change. Will clearing the cache fix this and is there a certain cache I need to clear?

ABSOLUTELY safe.
when i need to move store to another folder etc i prefer to disable it in settings.

I cleared all the caches and still did not work. Only the homepage works for m.kleinerts.com/store. All category and product pages throw an error.

I should have made the directory store from the beginning to avoid this problem. Will I have to create a new store and if so can I just copy everything over?

I got it to work! My fault. I did not change the .htaccess file. Now that I did everything is showing.
