errors in index page display

Acouple of questions please.

1. I am using a fresh demo install. However the attached errors occure when displaying
the index page. Images don't display and i get broken code text.

2. I want the lens mouse over effect as it appears in other installs

There is a small conflict in the menu of version 1.1.9 (icons) and earlier version templates.

Try to remove HTML portion from all menus and this should fix the problem.
