Can not create Pop up

please is it not possible to create a pop up window just before my website opens fully?I have tried all I can but not getting it.
Can anyone help please?

You'll need to apply the code to your website template, if you have the code and know how it reacts. Some pop-up need to be just before the

Code Select Expand

</body> tag.

Look at the page.tpl template page and see if that is where the pop-up needs to be placed. Without knowing what the code is, it's hard to be precise in it's placement.

Thanks Gordon ,the pop up is working on my site now.
For the benefit of others, I placed my pop up code in an html block and enabled it in the home page from the layout.
