Dear Team,

Is there any possibility of this happening ?

1. A Customer adds one or few products to the cart.
2. Heads on to checkout and selects payment methods on the payment gateway
3. And leaves without completing the payment.

Will there be any feature in the next release, that will allow the admin's to set a predefined duration after which an alert email will be sent to such customers, with an alert stating ....

"Dear Customer, there are some items in your cart waiting for your attention at AbanteCart.com"
and the body of the email should contain some latest products list or so on.

Thanks guys... I feel this would be a great feature..

The feature you describe is pretty similar to abandoned cart module for cre.
do you think this feature would be popular?

James

I feel, This could benefit Many cart owners. (even to market new products) as this could allow them to not just remind of orders pending payment, but also additional market new products in the email content :)

I have noticed a lot of Ecomm sites using this technique :)

There is actually "Abandoned Order View" extension available in the extension store. It is free.
You can install it and try.

Go to  Home :: Extensions Store and look for "Abandoned Order View"

Sorry for small mess on Extension Store page. Our partners are still working on better interface for this section.

Hey There Abantecart,

In our setup, the Home::Extension Store, shows a blank module (no entries nothing on the page)

We have not had the privelage to see any extensions yet :) any advice?

There is a possibility that there is no connection from your host via curl.
Do you have any proxy set up on your host that can prevent outside connection?

No i do not have no proxy, and the curl function works fine with other scripts i have used.  :-[

I am also on a Public/Live IP / My system has no proxy, nothing configured.

Is SSL Required for this to work?
echo $james;

abantecart

No SSL required. Do you get any messages in your log after you access the Extension store?

Nothing in the Log's either, I have even Set PHP to display errors, even there no errors. Neither in the AbanteCart Log's.

This setup is on XAMPP

Do you see anything else that is loaded remotely to admin, say message about current version in the right top Conner?

Yes i can see that

"AbanteCart control panel is offering convenient way to search anything in the cart. Simply type what you need in the search field on the right top corner and hit enter."

it loads :)

Can not see what can cause this without futher investigation. Since you operate locally on XAMPP it will be hard for us to check.
I tried XAMPP set up and it works fine

Well, Even am confused  :o

Should you want RDP access to my sys do let me know. (Although the setup on XAMPP is purely for understanding and testing The cart system). :)

I might install it over the weekend, on another setup/linux scenario and get familiar with the extension store :)
