AbanteCart 1.2.3 Development Tools

As of today with development tools with 1.2.3 if I clone the template it blows out the default template and the cloned template. All I get is Welcome to web store! Is this because the Development tool has been updated for 1.2.4?

please clarify what mean "All I get is Welcome to web store!".

Note: Developer tools is rolling development github repository. Please be sure that you have last version of it. We recommend to pull it from git every day.

I think what this means, that layout was not loaded correctly.
What do you get in your error log?

we found a bug under v.1.2.3 and already fixed it.
Please update your devtools, remove your broken clone and clone default template again.
