How to change free shipping over the setting price

I tried find information on Forum and SEO regarding about how to change free shipping over the setting price. For example, if I set price X as minimum 500 dollars to be free shipping and 'customer A' order 10 items and they are total 300 dollars then shipping fee will apply per item, but if 'customer B' order 20 items and total is 600 dollars then it should be free shipping. Am I clear? Let me know if there is any way I get this work.

there are two different areas for free shipping  one is an extension that looks at total,  one is within each product and only relates to that product.   Here is doc that will help.

Hello. Check your products in the admin, all have the Fixed Shipping Price config
