Meta Tags in Head section/ Head.tpl

Hi,

I'm trying to add some general seo meta tags to my storefront/view/default/template/common/head.tpl

<meta name="distribution" content="global" />
<meta name="robots" content="all, index, follow" />
<meta name="revisit-after" content="10 days" />
<meta name="googlebot" content="index, follow" />

but they don't seem to work or show in website html source. Please could someone help with where to put meta tags for it to work and show in source html. I have also cleared the AbanteCart settings cache but still meta tags do not show.
