Tax Classes component not getting added

Dear All,

We added tax class component as "Service Charges" with the necessary percentage and the priority 1. In Product the tax class has been selected as "Service Charges".

In System>Settings>Checkout -
Display price with tax > OFF
Default Store Tax Rate > Default
Use Customer Tax Address > Selected Shipping.

Still the Service charge is not getting added to the order. The tax class is selected for default customer and the same is used for all settings. Please let me know if any thing we are missing to check or add.
During check out the product price should see as actual price + service charges > checkout

Double check that you have selected correct location/state and ZIP in the customer address. Address should match what you set for the tax region.

By the way, you can use Handling fee total for service charge. Just a thought.

We checked the setting and all are proper. We also tried adding by handling fee as suggested, but this also not showing during checkout.
