Ive tried both uploading via my hosts file manager and with filezilla both have the same results.  Im itching to use the software after messing around on the demo.  I just cant figure out what the problem is?  Ive seen other threads loosely refering to but not completely offering an explanation to why it happens.

Thanks :)

We need more details. What error do you get? What is a version of your PHP?

If installation method that you use does not work for you, try a different one:

I have 5.6 set because i read a post where an admin said it is ideal.

2::warning A non-numeric value encountered in

that is at the bottom of step 1, then when i agree to license it just loads nothing.

I click to check the agreement, click next and it stalls on this link
/install/index.php?rt=license

Are you sure it is PHP 5.6. I think, this warning is from PHP 7.1

What version of Abantecart do you try to install?

Im trying to install the latest version from the download page.

It is set to PHP 5.6 in the settings of my host.

Now im getting this error after agreeing.

Warning: require_once(/customers/b/4/3/myurl/httpd.www/core/lib/debug.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /customers/b/4/3/myurl/httpd.www/install/init.php on line 52 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/customers/b/4/3/myurl/httpd.www/core/lib/debug.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /customers/b/4/3/myurl/httpd.www/install/init.php on line 52

Looks like your FTP did not upload all the files or they have incorrect permissions.

Check this file /customers/b/4/3/myurl/httpd.www/core/lib/debug.php

What hosting do you use? Most hosting already offer click based AbanteCart installation.

Thanks for the reply Max.

I use one.com hosting which do not offer much other than their own scripts or wordpress.  Where would I check the permissions? In the one.com cpanel?

I spoke to the tech support and they said the abantecart requirements are fine and should work perfectly.

when i accept the terms and conditions, it just gives me a blank page and this after my url /install/index.php?rt=license

I really want to crack on with adding content but this is seeming to to road block everything :(

If you want to do it manually then download the latest version of AbanteCart and paste it in public_html folder in CPanel->filemanager->public_html
then go to phpmyadmin and copy paste the Database. Give right path of database in folder filemeanger->public_html->your_website_name->system->config

This should work

thanks for the reply, but the error still continues... The host says this:

Yes, they have confirmed that it is compatible. But, apparently, it is not working on our end. I would suggest that you contact this issue again with the developer of AbanteCart - Tried to access the page by putting ?f after URL and errors are coming up:

myurl/shop/install/index.php?rt=license?f

Is it them? is it something ive done? is it AbanteCart?

Did you double check that all files are uploaded? Try to re-upload and check that there is no error after upload
