Start from checking server log to find what happen
Also compare the files with source https://github.com/abantecart/abantecart-src
Most common security issue is stolen login/pass or wrong read/write permissions for files

your site defaced by hackers.
Looks like your hosting provider have security holes on host.
ask them tech support
