How do I enter inventory UPC/GTIN/EAN/JAN numbers?!

Okay, seeing that these product ID numbers are more important in a retail and SEO sense than an SKU how come I can't find a field to enter this information in my freshly installed system - it was installed on Saturday 22nd September.

I have spent more than an hour looking, double checking, treble checking everything

That is exactly NOT what I asked for.

the SKU is NOT an EAN/UPC/GTIN/JAN

You can use any field like model or misc location for that. It is few clicks in AbanteCart to rename it.
If these fileds are in use check 3rd party extensions to add more data to products

if only you had a clue, I can't recommend an ecommerce cart to a client even if it's free when it doesn't have a prerequisite feature of EAN/GTIN/etc..
