Update all products at once

Hi, is it possible to update all products to match changes made to one product? For instance, I have added a field to a product, but I want that field to apply to all products without needing to edit every product one by one.

How do you add a field? Do have some extension that add new fields to products?

If you need to bulk edit products, you can use export/import feature. You export products, edit them in CSV file and import back updated file.

I am using the Parker Theme extension and in the product edit I add the field there in the "options" tab.

Can you give me a hint with the export import? I did this once to try and add all my products. There were so many fields that I messed up everything and wound up adding them one by one
