Sub-Menu Issue

I'm using V1.2.26. I've created a menu in Admin/Design/Menu using Home as the Parent directory. It links to a Content page and there are no errors. In the Store, when you click Home, it only shows a white box with no link. I also tried a custom link using the URL of the Content page I want to link to with the same result. I've cleared the cache with no change.
Is this a known issue or am I missing something? There appears to be a lot of older posts asking about this but I didn't see any that address why the built-in Admin tool doesn't work.
Any help is appreciated.

Can you try to assign it to another parent, what is your theme? And please attach a screenshot
