Empty pages

Good day! And apologies, ahead of time, for my English - not my native language.

Have installed AbanteCart on my hosting, but have trouble making it work. Issue looks like this: store page (with all the pre-loaded sample data) opens, I can proceed to the next one (e.g. a product, or registration as a user), maybe another one after that. Then - all links just lead to an empty page. Returning back results in the same empty page.

I can still access admin section and change settings or modify contents of the site, etc.

I've done installation both using Softaculous and manually, with the same results. Installation does not create any errors, or report troubles with PHP or whatnot. Had a small chat with my hosting provider - they see no issues on their site. And alternative CMSs, like e.g. Wordpress, do work without any such issues.

Check for latest errors after you see empty page in the AbanteCart error log

What is your PHP and AbanteCart version?

~~PHP is 7.0.33~~ PHP is for some reason shown as 7.0.33 on cPanel's "information about server", but it is set as 8.1 (current) in PHP Selector.
AbanteCart is 1.3.2

Please set php to 7.3

With PHP set at 7.3 I can neither login as admin, nor open the store itself - same empty page.

Resetting it back to 8.1 allows me to login as admin, but store still does not work properly.

Enable errors reporting on your server or PHP settings to see what's wrong. AbanteCart 1.3.2 is not compatible with PHP 8.1

Just FYI, we find cart version 1.3.2 runs very well on PHP 8.0 and have all our installations set to that.
It also seems to work on PHP 7.4.

After some further tinkering with PHP (set at 7.4) version and extensions (switched a couple on an off), shop seems to work properly.
