Stripe settings not saving

Having a hard time setting up Stripe Payment Extension. When I save the connection settings (both using the connect link and manually) it says saved but then still says "Additional settings are required to complete Stripe payment setup. See additional settings tab.". Can not figure out why it keeps doing this.

If you see that Stripe is connected on the Additional setting page no actions are needed.
