AbanteCart cart menu errors 1.16

Hello I have AbanteCart 1.16 .   The top menu featuring specials, account,  login,  checkout & cart do not work, they take me to a page with text but no graphics.  In addition when I click the logo installed it does not take me to home page but says that homepage cannot be found.
