Featured, Latest Products, Specials etc

My First post  , most of the car seems straightforward/logical but am using the Featured, Latest Products, etc blocks on the front page and wonder if there should be links to pages on the text i have bolded below
Featured See Our Most featured Products
Latest Products See New Products
Specials See Products On Sale

Hello mikeb,
Welcome to a great board and a great cart.  Let me address your questions:  These three sections will show products on your home page in under the different titles.

The Latest Products show up when you add new products - they are automatically shown by the date added.

The Featured Products  are controlled by the FEATURED check box within the Product edit page,  it's the second field, the one just below the on/off

The Specials are also controlled from with the Product edit section - after you add a product, the section is Promotions
which has two areas,  one for quantity discounts ,  second of for specials (sales)  that's what turns on the Sale tag, and displays in the Specials section on Home page.

It's is recommended that new cart users read the documentation - it will really help your understanding of the cart.

Thanks, understand where and how on the front page, just dont understand the need for the "See" text afterwards unless as a link to more Featured, New etc

Ah,  then is it just a matter of your perception of what the title is saying.  Just think of it as a nice way of saying "Look Here"

You have the ability to change the wording if you wish.

Easiest way - go to the search in the upper right corner on your Admin Panel and type in the language you want and it will locate it and you can edit.
