International shipping setup error????

Hello anyone

I have now setup international shipping, but everytime you add more then 1 item it disappears??? How do i fix this problem?

yes it is the post office (Royal mail) it is not just international, it is all of them apart from standard UK post only

Please make sure that all items (products) added to shopping cart have correct weight and weight class and same for Length/weight/height and its class

It was tested on a item? the weight was put in but did not put in the length etc.... should this matter as the different prices are measured in weight only, it just does not add the extra quantities?

Hello. Look like Royal Mail have product dimensions limitations see this post.
Test it yourself please. Try to fill product dimensions and change weight and/or weight class to see Royal Mail behavior.
Also can you please clarify did you see problem when update product quantity or add another product to the shopping cart?

Thanks for trying to asker finally? but no nothing to do with dimensions limitations. the trouble i face is the quantities of an existing product.


All the price are set correctly according to the weight of product, but when you add more than one quantity the international shipping option disappears, and just the flat rate is there. it should just totally the cost of the weight twice, but instead it vanishes?

Hello.
This is not a bug. Check you Royal Mail settings again. If you update cart to 2 item the weight will be 1.2+1.2=2.4 kg. You need to configure Royal Mail Rates for weight 2.4kg

Oh i see thought it would automatically add the weight like it did the price?, didn't know you had to set each weight individually, as i thought you only need to set the weight once. So if someone buys fifty i will need to have a weight and price for that as well correct. does it have a limit on how may prices and weight you can add in the box?

I am not sure about field character limit you can save but you dont need to set up all possible weight individually. What you need is set up range of possible weights: for example set up price to 1 kg and to 100kg (or any maximum possible by Royal Mail). Basically check with Royal Mail documentation and suggested ranges of weight and prices:
1kg-10kg price1
10kg-20kg price 2
etc.. 
if you weight of products added to shopping cart  will be 6.47kg the sipping cost will be price1
